For the most up-to-date information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, please visit the Walt Disney World Know Before You Go Guide.
Located directly across from Magic Kingdom on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon lies an open-air eatery with a relaxing feel and tropical ambiance where American favorites are prepared with hints of the Asian flavors. Kona Café is a delicious dining experience that serves Walt Disney World guests throughout the day.
You can start your day off with a casual breakfast with Tonga Toast (Banana-stuffed French Toast rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a strawberry compote), Mickey Waffles, Macadamia Nut Pancakes, and plenty of standard American fare breakfast options! Selections for lunch and dinner include Sushi Rolls, Poke Bowls, Kona-braised Duck Fried Rice with Leg Confit, Stir-Fry with Shrimp, and a Crispy Cheddar Burger. The meals are served with soft dinner rolls with a delicious macadamia nut butter. There are plenty of cocktails to go along with your meal (available at an additional cost). Be sure to save room for dessert! There are plenty of “dessert glasses” available to finish the meal. Some popular selections available are Key Lime, Tiramisu, S’more, and Lemon Tart.
Kona Café is located on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. If you are traveling from a Disney park or returning to a park after dining at Kona Cafe, you can use the monorail or the Disney bus transportation. If you are traveling between your resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you can use Disney transportation to go to a theme park, then transfer to the Polynesian. For those time conscious guests, utilizing a taxi or rideshare will cut down on travel time.
The restaurant participates in the Disney Dining Plan and requires 1 table-service credit. (As a reminder, Disney currently is not offering Dining Plans).

My family has dined at Kona Café several times over the years. It is a delicious and filling dining experience after a full day of visiting Disney World. We enjoy the opportunity to dine at a resort restaurant with delicious food, unique atmosphere, and a friendly waitstaff. We also treasure the opportunity to step away from the theme park restaurants and reflect on a fun day at the parks!
If you are looking for some American favorites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with subtle Asian influences, take a quick Monorail ride and dine at Kona Café!
