Most rooms at Grand Californian sleep up to five guests in two queen beds and a fold down sofa. Rooms are offered in standard, woods/courtyard, partial view of Downtown Disney or theme park, pool, and Downtown Disney views. Grand Californian offers a variety of suites, ranging from one to three bedrooms. The suites are offered in different themes: Arcadia, Arroyo, El Capitan, and Mount Whitney.

If you want to treat yourself to an exceptional resort experience, book a Club Level Room. Guests in the Club rooms have exclusive access to The Craftsman Club. Continental breakfast is offered in the morning and snacks are available in the afternoon. During the evening, guests can take advantage of wine and cheese, appetizers, and desserts. Beverages are offered throughout the day, including wine and beer. Club guests have exclusive access to The Veranda where they can watch fireworks with the soundtrack playing for them. The staff is exceptional and will make you feel right at home during your stay. Because of the proximity of the resorts to the parks, it makes Club Level rooms – and especially the lounge – easily accessible during a Disneyland visit.

Dining options at The Grand Californian are exceptional:

• Napa Rose features California cuisine and offers an extensive wine list. This is a dining location to consider if you are celebrating a special occasion. Napa Rose is home to the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure, which includes a 3-course breakfast and enchanting encounters with some favorite Disney Princesses. Reservations are a must at Napa Rose.
• Storytellers Cafe is open for breakfast and dinner, and offers hearty home-style favorites on its buffet. Some of your favorite Disney characters join you for breakfast. Reservations are recommended.
• Hearthstone Lounge is a great place to unwind after a day in the parks. Located just off of the lobby, you can enjoy a selection of small plates and a full bar menu.
• GCH Craftsman Bar is located poolside and offers a selection of drinks and appetizers. Reservations are available.
• GCH Craftsman Grill is the quick service dining location at the resort and offers walk up and mobile order service. Open from morning to night, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

With near perfect weather year-round in Southern California, a pool day should definitely be on your agenda during your visit. There are three pools at the Grand Californian – The Fountain, Redwood, and Mariposa. Kids, and kids-at-heart, will enjoy the slide, and adults can retreat to the hot tubs for a nice soak. Cabanas are available to rent for an additional charge.

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including exciting seasonal events at select times throughout the year. Some activities may even have a surprise Disney character appearance! Pool parties, fitness classes, arts and crafts, and cultural activities are just a few of the things guests can look forward to enjoying. If you are driving to Disney’s Grand Californian, be sure to remember that there is a daily parking fee charged to your room. Self-parking is available for $35 per night per vehicle and valet service is $50 per night per vehicle.

• Dining Delivery – Select restaurants in the Downtown Disney District provide meal delivery. Scan the QR code from your in-room TV to access menus and more information.
• Preferred Dining Access – COMING SOON, guests will have the opportunity to have preferred access to a limited number of reservations at select hotel table service restaurants.

One of the best things about visiting Disneyland, and staying at a Disneyland Resort, is that you can walk to and from the parks. You don’t have to set foot on a bus, boat, or Monorail (though it is fun to take a spin on the Monorail!) – from your door to the park entrance is a 10 minute or less walk. This makes mid-day breaks a breeze, and means you don’t have to wait for transportation. And if you want to park hop, it’s less than 300 feet from the Disneyland gates to the California Adventure gates.
