Jaleo is a Signature Restaurant located in Disney Springs. One of the perks of dining at restaurants at Disney Springs is that you don’t need a park ticket to dine as it is free to enter and enjoy Disney Springs. Jaleo is located on the West Side of Disney Springs so park in the Orange Garage if driving for the closest parking option. If staying on property or coming from a Disney Park, you can take Disney transportation to Disney Springs.
Jaleo brings the flavors of Spain to your Disney vacation by serving tapas or full sized meals for lunch or dinner. They do an excellent job of incorporating the culture of Spain through a unique mix of casual and energetic atmospheres.
Jaleo has several tapas to choose from including Gazpacho, fried cod, chicken fritters, paella, and fried potatoes. For individual meals, they are known for their 36 month and 48 month cured ham shoulder or sheep’s milk cheese served with bread.
Jaleo is a signature restaurant so it requires two table service dining credits if you’re using a Disney Dining Plan. If you are paying without the dining plan, it is on the more expensive side of restaurants with a cost of $30-$40 per person for an individual meal whether at lunch or dinner. The tapas cost anywhere from $5-10 per small plate.
Overall, the food and environment at Jaleo is excellent even if it does come with a higher price tag. Getting to try several different types of dishes in one meal is a fun experience! The dishes generally don’t all come out at once as they are made fresh and some dishes take longer than others. With the large variety, it is easy to appease many taste buds. I would recommend leaning on your server to help guide you on what to order if you aren’t familiar with tapas. They can help you with what is a crowd favorite, daily special or maybe even ones that you may not like based on preference.
